The world stands at a crossroads, threatened by Evil Lord C.O. the 2 from the Disposable Islands. Driven by boredom and a thirst for chaos, he has declared war on Earth, wielding weapons of pollution and exhaust gases.
The planet's last hope lies with the Zeedz—charming, tiny seeds known as Zeedles, the warriors in the battle against climate change. Every game purchase directly supports non-profits taking climate action.
Zeedz brings a revolutionary, fun-filled approach to environmental activism through its green proof-of-stake blockchain. Set on a real-world map, the game incorporates live weather conditions, turning each player's actions into part of a global mission to stop the ecological crisis.
The primary goal of the project was to design a richly detailed, nature-inspired virtual world, populated with unique characters and their families, featuring defined evolutionary stages and skills. This virtual environment mirrors real-world locations, emphasizing the theme of environmental protection. An additional crucial objective was the creation of the enemies and their dark world in Desposable Islands, serving to illustrate the potential bleak and harmful effects of pollution.
The project's scope extended to designing both web and app versions, ensuring that all elements, including the user interface, were meticulously crafted to enhance user engagement across different platforms.

Our main challenge was to design a complete, magical world with unique habitats and characters dedicated to protecting the environment from pollution. The game needed to be intuitive and easy to navigate, showing both sides of the conflict clearly. Specific goals included:

Character Creation:
We developed 4 evolutionary stages as well as the seed version for each family (more than 150 characters), drawing inspiration from real-world plants, fruits, and creatures. Each family had distinct, combining elements of cuteness and strength. Each family member had its name, affinity, class and rarity. These cute characters were sold in different rarity packages by thousands of peoples and made $**1.65M in revenue.

We designed the homeland of the Zeedles - a magical world where the characters started to live, grow, and gather energy to protect the real world. The original concept for the first screen of the garden was created by concept artist David le Merrer. All the future details and rendering were created by our team.

We developed a stylized map of the real world, incorporating various weather conditions. Players could select locations to plant their characters through clicking on a location pin, could observe extreme weather alerts caused by Evil Lord CO2, and choose where to confront him.

We designed diverse locations, from the Amazon Rainforest to the Rocky Mountains, from the Sahara Desert to the Siberian Tundras, and from the African Savannas to the Galápagos Islands (more than 60 habitats). We explored and created stylized, illustrated versions of these locations where the zeedle characters can be planted to collect resources.

Based on Alicia Ludwig's original idea, we created Evil Lord CO2, who causes chaos and destruction. We made different emotions and poses for his animated version. Alongside him, we designed an army of elemental monsters representing Storm, Water, Ice, and Fire. Each monster had five evolution levels, gaining new skills and power as they grow. They started as strong soldiers and evolved into powerful bosses ready for battle.

All characters were prepared with various poses and emotions, which our animators and developers used for bringing the game's battles to life. We integrated real-time, real-world weather events into the game to add realism. Additionally, we created promotional designs and an animated movie that showcase the intense battles to protect our planet, highlighting key scenes of the fight.

You can't be well-prepared to fight for nature if you don’t have enough knowledge. That’s why we created the Knowledge Hall. Here, guided by the smartest Zeedle, the Old Zeed, users could answer questions and earn up to three Charmz- Plant, Atmosphere, Ocean- each boosting different strengths.
Knowledge could also be gained through deep discussions with your very own Zeedle, who would share its profound knowledge with the help of artificial intelligence.
We also created mini games within the app, allowing users to play and gain more knowledge about recycling.

For purchasing additional items in the game, we created a stunning in-game currency called Bloomz, featuring a vibrant color palette and intricate floral patterns. Players could use Bloomz in the game shop to buy new packages, energy packs, and much more.

In addition to the app launch, physical trading cards will be available for pre-order, and will open up the green magical world of Zeedz to analog, geared towards younger enthusiasts.
